The Kyowakai came under attack by the Yukoku Giyuto, under the Takamatsu Yoshihito-kai. However, under orders from Yamazaki-gumi Wakagashira Himuro (Yasukaze Motomiya), Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) launched a fierce counterattack and annihilated the Giyuto. For this achievement, Himuro was promoted to a direct member under Kyowakai leader Kudo (Hakuryu).
