The soundtrack and film has received a cult status over the years.

Production

Unnale Unnale became Jeeva's last finished film prior to his death on the sets of his next film, Dhaam Dhoom. Vinay made his debut into the film industry after modelling and featuring in a couple of Tulu advertisements. Tanishaa made her first and only Tamil films appearance with this film. The film was mostly shot in Melbourne, Australia. Chinmayi dubbed for Tanishaa.
