While nursing a hangover, Tayal Wadan sees a "postman angel" deliver a letter, which reveals that his wallet has been found—embedded in a block of concrete. Following this discovery, Wadan resolves to head to the city to reclaim his lost wallet and the millet field he has always dreamed of. Meanwhile, Hsiao Mo meets an eccentric girl through a telephone dating service and begins to develop feelings for her. When she asks him to meet her at the site of the millet field, Hsiao Mo, too, sets off in search of this elusive, dreamlike millet field…
