창세기 3장 23절의 문장에 이어, 어둠 속에서 문득 정신을 차리는 남자의 모습으로 영화가 시작된다. 하지만 걸친 것 하나 없이 추위와 자신이 마주한 이해할 수 없는 환경에 몸을 떨면서, 일단은 깜빡이는 빛과 함께하는 소리를 향해 몸을 움직인다. 기억 상실로 인해, 일단은 단색으로 밝음과 어둠만이 존재하는 공간을 탐색하는 것으로 시작하여, 정체를 알 수 없는 ‘그것’들과 마주하는 그의 여정은 계속해서 상층부를 향해 나아간다. 그리고는 그 과정을 통해 ‘에덴 로그’와 현생인류가 지닌 관계의 진실을 하나 둘씩 보게 되지만, 조금씩 기억을 찾아가게 되는 그의 여정은 과연 탈출구가 존재할 것인가에 대한 물음표를 그려나갈 뿐이었는데… (출처: 무한오타 님 블로그 내용중 인용)
