Hello. A dear friend of mine has passed away. He worked for a major company, had a wife and children, and owned a house in the suburbs. He was the picture of happiness. He was diagnosed with cancer last spring. We kept in touch, but our conversations grew longer and longer, and finally, his wife contacted me to tell me that he had passed away. Since it was his funeral, I visited his house after the service and offered incense. He and I were friends from my hometown, so we didn't have much contact as adults.
