Eshwar, an atheist, is married to Paravathy, a firm believer of a snake god. When Eshwar's manager tries creating a rift between husband and wife, he punishes the manager for his evil deeds.

It is a remake of the Tamil film Vellikizhamai Viratham. The film stars Rama Krishna, Chandrakala, Sarath Babu, Jayasudha and K. V. Chalam.
