Through cunning schemes and deception, the family is manipulated and ends up losing their land and home overnight. From the shock, the father, Cheon-seok, collapses. Determined to catch the con artists, Hyung-rae (Young-gu) heads to Seoul—marking the beginning of his difficult life in the city.
