Production

The Wait was written and directed by M. Blash. He described the film as beingabout the altered states brought on by grief... at the time I was writing the film, my mother was revisiting the small town in Hawaii where she grew up. I felt like I was watching my mother transform into a teenage girl again. I was no longer her son, but suddenly just a friend.

Principal photography took place in central Oregon in the cities of Bend, Black Butte Ranch, and Sisters.
