The Gift
After a herpes diagnosis derails her confidence, a young woman spirals through a series of increasingly chaotic and humiliating events: a meltdown phone call overheard at brunch, a misplaced explicit video, and a hookup that goes very, very wrong. As shame closes in and she retreats further into herself, an unexpected, almost mystical moment interrupts the spiral.
