Just before leaving to become a cadet candidate, Supriyasa (18) says goodbye to Asih (58), the mother who has raised him since he was a child. Before he goes, Asa’s memories take us back to when he and Revano (19) grew up being treated differently. Ano was shaped to fit Asih’s expectations, while Asa was shaped to find his own path. Now, as Asih lies ill, the two show the results of how they were raised, and Asa must choose between staying or moving on with his life.
