Nach dem Attentat auf den Premierminister sucht Ibrahim Zuflucht bei Mohyis Familie; dort droht jedoch Verrat, als Abdel Hamid sein Geheimnis aufdeckt. Trotz der Möglichkeit zur Flucht besteht Ibrahim darauf, zurückzukehren und gegen den Kolonialismus zu kämpfen.
