KING (2009)

Guntur (Rangga Raditya) is an ordinary kid from a village in Banyuwangi. His father (Mamiek Prakoso) is tough on him because he wants Guntur to be a badminton champion like Liem Swie King, while his friend Raden (Lucky Martin) pushes him to take part in local match by suggesting that he might win a lot of money. After learning that his competitive efforts only brings him trouble, he becomes mad to both his father and friend, and vow to not ever touch badminton anymore. However, his father and Raden may have secrets that Guntur doesn’t know.
