In the small working community, the entry in the local newspaper hits like a bomb. The signature "Leif" claims that the town's large arms company Rotum exports weapons illegally. Gunnar Volt, CEO of Rotum, gets a shock. Imagine that someone has the audacity to say that about the community's pride Rotum - even if it now happens to be true. Trivia

The film's story proved to compare fairly well with reality. Around the same time as it was filmed media uncovered the Bofors scandal. Regarding this, one can amuse themselves with reading the place name backwards, as it says mutor which is Swedish for bribes.

At the start of the film there is an animation that seems to be inspired by the animated introduction to Monty Python's Life of Brian. The name "Brian", is replaced with "Leif".
