Magic Sticks is a 1987 West German-American comedy film directed by Peter Keglevic and starring George Kranz and Kelly Curtis. It features one of Samuel L. Jackson's early film appearances.

Production

A West German-American co-production, the film was shot in New York City in English, but never reached theaters in the U.S.; a German-language dub did get a commercial release. The film features Samuel L. Jackson in one of his earliest roles as the bum who sells Felix the magical drumsticks.

Evan Dunsky was an assistant director on the film. Dunsky would go on to become known for directing The Alarmist (1997).
