Production

Music director Goutam-Sushmit recommended Yash Dasgupta after he won a glam competition in Kolkata. He signed the film thinking he is playing one of the heroes but was disappointed that Ritwick Chakraborty was projected as the sole hero in promotional posters. According to Yash, his character had gray shades but wasn't negative.
