Attila
로마 제국은 훈족의 위협을 피하기 위해 평화사절로 장군 아에티우스(앙리 비달)를 보낸다. 수장 아틸라(안소니 퀸)는 형 블레다(에토르 마니)의 반대를 무릅쓰고 협상을 중단했으나 결국 응한다. 다만 로마 황제가 발렌티아누스 3세(클로드 레이두)이긴 하지만 우둔해 어머니 갈라(콜레트 레지스)가 실권을 가지고 있고, 딸 호노리아(소피아 로렌)는 어머니에게 반항하는 공명심 강한 여성이라는 문제가 있었다. 호노리아는 로마 제국을 포기하고 아틸라에게 결혼을 신청한다. 아틸라는 이를 기화로 형을 살해하고 로마에 싸움을 걸어 아에티우스와 대결하는데...

Attila is a 1954 historical drama, directed by Pietro Francisci and produced by Dino De Laurentiis and Carlo Ponti for Lux Film. Based on the life of Attila the Hun, it stars Anthony Quinn as Attila and Sophia Loren as Honoria, with French leading man Henri Vidal as the Hun's antagonist, Flavius Aetius. Irene Papas, in the second of three contract pictures for Lux Film, plays one of Attila's wives, Grune. Ettore Manni, Christian Marquand, and Claude Laydu are among the supporting cast of mostly French and Italian actors. American actor Scott Marlowe made his screen debut in the film.
