Razni is a rich boy who lives with his aunty. The superintendent sleeps with shakeela by promising her that he will marry her, but seeing Hema, the superintendent asks shakeela to arrange a marriage between him and Hema, on which Shakeela gets angry at the superintendent and vows to sabotage his attempts to marry Hema as a revenge. Hema is the cousin of Razni and they fall in love and plan to marry. Meanwhile, Shakeela who lives nearby becomes fond of Razni and seduces him.

It was a major commercial success, grossing ₹4 crore at the box office against a budget of ₹12 lakh. The success of Kinnarathumbigal would go on to pioneer a new wave of low-budget Malayalam softcore porn films in Kerala.

Production

The film was given an adult certificate despite having less intimate scenes than other films, which were not A-rated.
