కిక్ (2009)

Kalyan is a kind of guy who prefers a life full of thrills than leading a regular life style. He seeks kick in whatever he does. He finds liking in Naina. They separate due to differences. Krishna is a young cop who is in lookout for a big ticket thief who happens to be Kalyan. Meanwhile, Naina agrees for an engagement with Krishna. The rest of the story is all about how Kalyan wins back his lady love and the real intent behind the robberies of Kalyan.

Kick is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language vigilante action comedy film directed by Surender Reddy from a story by Vakkantham Vamsi. The film stars Ravi Teja, Ileana, and Shaam while Brahmanandam plays a supporting role. The film has music composed by Thaman S. Released on 8 May 2009, the film was a major commercial success. Many film analysts and trade circuits attributed the success of Kick being responsible for the revival of Telugu cinema in early 2009, following the "dry season" of box failures after the success of Arundhati at the beginning of the year.

Production

The film was financed by R. R. Venkat under his banner, R. R. Movie Makers. It is the second collaboration between Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz after Khatarnak. The cinematographer was Rasool Ellore and the editor was Gautham Raju, in his fourth collaboration with the director after Athanokkade, Ashok and Athidhi.
