Tapeworm (2019)
A tenuously connected group of nobodies trudge through their dreary Winnipeg existence. A sickly man in an unhappy marriage, a stand-up comedian whose sets are received with indifference, a stoner couple who share only trivial exchanges, and a young loner are each living lives lost in translation, detached from their surroundings and the people around them.

趣闻
Tapeworm is a 2019 dark comedy directed by Milos Mitrovic and Fabian Velasco. It had its world premiere in the Future//Present section of the 2019 Vancouver International Film Festival.
Production
Tapeworm was shot on 16mm film on a shoe string budget. Using mostly non-professional actors, Mitrovic and Velasco took a very improvisational approach to the film, finding inspiration from real life experiences living in Winnipeg. Speaking to Variety magazine, Mitrovic and Velasco explained "We shot the film on Super 16, which gave it a great texture with lots of grain.
Tapeworm was filmed entirely in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
