카 레이싱을 즐기는 토미는 케이시와 내기 경주를 벌이다 케이시의 계략에 빠져 안타까운 사고를 당해 사망한다. 형의 레이싱을 늘 걱정했던 동생 릭은 케이시에게 복수를 결심하고 직접 레이싱 경기에 참가한다. 릭은 레이스를 위해 친구들의 도움을 받아 차를 개조해 성능을 높이고 시험운전을 하다 큰 사고를 당하며 죽을 고비를 넘긴다. 하지만 릭은 형을 죽인 케이시를 향한 복수심은 점점 불타오르는데... 1월, 멈출 수 없는 질주가 펼쳐진다!

200 mph is an auto racing action film directed by Cole McKay and distributed by The Asylum. It was released direct-to-DVD April 26, 2011. It is a mockbuster of the 2011 Universal Pictures film Fast Five.

Production

The title first appeared November 2010 on the official Asylum website as "200 MPH: Midnight Racers". More details emerged when the official page on the website went live January 2010, around the same time principal photography began, revealing that the subtitle "Midnight Racers" had been dropped, and that the film would be directed by veteran stunts expert Cole McKay (Transformers: Dark of the Moon & Cloverfield) and was written by Thunder Levin.…

During production, the Mazda RX-7 used as Rick Merchant's car was stolen. The RX-7 belonged to award-winning professional drifter Justin Pawlak. The vehicle was inside a 26-foot enclosed Aztex trailer, attached to Pawlak's Chevrolet 2500HD, altogether stolen in the middle of production.
