Not long after her arrival, she quickly becomes infatuated with a charming, good-looking and talented painter named Garth, who works for her prim and proper Aunt. Although there is a mutual attraction between them from the start, Garth does not truly fall in love with Juana until he hears her sing a wonderful song called "The Rosary".
