Vor 10 Jahren hat Jimmy seinen Vater bei einem Tauchgang zum Wrack der Santa Cruz, deren Rumpf mit Diamanten gefüllt sein soll, durch einen grausamen Haiangriff verloren. Heute ist er Sicherheitschef am Horseneck Beach, ganz in der Nähe der Santa Cruz. Der Russe Volkoff verspricht dem Strand eine ordentliche Finanzspritze, wenn Jimmy ihn zu dem Wrack führt. Doch Jimmy weigert sich - noch immer gibt es Tote durch Haiattacken! Aber Volkhoff will dorthin, um jeden Preis. Schließlich entführt er Danny, Jimmys Sohn...
