He is an ex-rocker whose feature film directorial debut, the practical effects-driven fantasy Dave Made A Maze, won the Audience Award at its World Premiere at Slamdance. The film has gone on to win over 20 Audience and Jury Prizes, a Saturn Award, is distributed in over 40 countries, and is Certified Fresh.
