Facundo Balza is an Uruguayan film director and producer born in 2005. His first short film as writer and director, “Espírita” (2025), was selected for the Fantastic Workshop 2024 (ACAU, BIFFF), Ventana Sur, and the BIF Market in Brussels, and received multiple awards. Since then, he has focused his work on production with “S22” (fiction) and “Las películas de mi pueblo” (documentary). “Tabula Rasa” is his new project as writer and director, revisiting the tensions and fractures that define his perspective.
