Biografia
João Deus is an emerging writer and director who traded a promising career as a police commanding officer, abandoning a master’s at the police academy, to pursue storytelling through film. With a keen focus on generational trauma, sexual psychology, and socio-political landscapes, his work delves into the complexities of human experience. Passionate about both fiction and documentary, he’s drawn to capturing the lives of rare individuals, the nuances of old age, and the profound silence of god, crafting narratives that resonate with raw authenticity and emotional depth
