His first film role came as "White Boy Bob" in Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight (1998, with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez), which he landed through a recommendation from a former NFL teammate who worked as an agent. He died of cancer the day after his 46th birthday. His most notable film credits include Wild Bill Cherry in Superbad (2007, with Michael Cera and Jonah Hill), Big Gus Schiller in Leatherheads (2008, directed by and starring George Clooney), Clarence Darlington in Lakeview Terrace (2008, with Samuel L.
