His documentary DYSMORPHIA combines dance and documentary storytelling to unite multiple subjects across gender and racial identities. 8TH GRADE is a short film confronting teenage pregnancy within the post-Roe generation. TATTERS is a puppet film that aims to educate children on topics of death and grief. AM I REALLY BY MYSELF? stands as David's most personal journey into his hometown and its connection to music, dance, and mental anguish.
