Ryland Peter Cooder (* 15. März 1947) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musiker, Songwriter, Filmmusikkomponist, Plattenproduzent und Autor. Er ist Multiinstrumentalist, aber vor allem für sein Slide-Gitarrenspiel, sein Interesse an traditioneller Musik und seine Zusammenarbeit mit traditionellen Musikern aus vielen Ländern bekannt.
